Today is a day of spending time relaxing with your friends and family. With this in mind we wanted to share some highlights of our last 12 months of fun and friendship.
We have taken some fab mini breaks together, and with them a chance to scope out some new and exciting places to eat, drink and (most importantly) shop home wares and knick knacks.
Manchester
Our 2017 round-up has to start with our home town…
Every time you turn a corner in Manchester, you see a blend of beautifully preserved architecture, vintage retro store fronts and uber-modern glass office blocks.
Whether you’re into modern contemporary dining, bohemian retail stores, or luxurious boutique hotels; Manchester is an interior design fans dream 🙂

Highlights of the year for us includes the gorgeous Refuge bar & restaurant (try the shwarma – its to die for), with its classic Manchester tiling and parquet floor, Dirty Martini cocktail bar for on trend neon, gold and geometrics, and The Gotham Hotel for luxurious 1920’s art deco styling.
We can also often be found exploring not just the usual high street retail suspects, but many a vintage fair, local market and the infamous Afflecks Palace, followed by a cheeky cocktail (or two) in the trendy bars of the Northern Quarter or Kings Street.

Barcelona
Fast becoming one of our favourite places for a city break, Barcelona has some beautiful sites (and the paella’s sublime!) to go with the sun, sea and sand.
The diversity of the interior styles, architecture and cultural influences in the city are vast, but we’ve cherry picked our top moments including skater bar Nevermind complete with Chewy wall art, the famous 4 Gats restaurant and its gorgeous art deco styling and marble table tops, and the botanical clothing store Florencia.

Edinburgh
An amazing weekender city, ideal for party goers and culture seekers alike. We had a wonderful time eating, drinking and shopping our way through the beautiful streets of this famous Scottish city.
